No Classes On June 12 and 26 – Philippines National Public Holiday

There will be no classes on the following dates mentioned above because;

no classes

June 12 is Philippines Independence Day or Araw ng Kasarinlan in Filipino which is commonly known as Araw ng Kalayaan (Day of Freedom). Independence Day is national holiday observed annually every 12th of June commemorating the declaration of Independence from Spain on June 12, 1898. It has been the Philippines National Day since 1962.

While June 26, is Eid-al-Fitr (“festival of breaking of the fast”) is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, is also a national public holiday in the Philippines.

Both dates falls on Monday which make sit a long weekend for employees.
